i was so overwhelmed by the support and love that was felt this weekend at 'faire de rue' -
(what is that, you ask? a vintage inspired market filled to the brim with handcrafted, delicious products. put on by my fabulously talented cousin jen, and her equally talented friends and business ladies).
it has been three days since the end of our event, and i am still reeling from all the goodness.
i snapped a few shots for you. enjoy!
are these not the coolest pillows you've ever seen? and guess what? i got to take them home with me! they are nestled happily on my entry way bench. love.
these pieces crack me up. i smiled on the inside the whole time i worked on them. you know, my hubby is obsessed with hunting/animals/the outdoors...and so this reminds me of him in so many ways. love these. both sold to one of the coolest women i've ever met - i always love seeing my heart and soul go to good people.
today has been one of those days that i wish would go on and on.
the hubby and i have a few days off from work together, and aside from getting lots of painting and studio projects complete, we've been focusing on spending time together.
we've snuggled by the warm fire, watched movies, took a little road trip, went for a walk in the rain -it's been wonderful.
sometimes i catch myself thinking too far ahead...knowing that this will all end too soon and ill go back to work and life will go on! and it tends to ruin the moment. so today, that is what i am focusing on. living in the moment.
