Saturday was a pottery painting kind of day. With the best company a girl could ask for.
Corvallis was beautiful this weekend, and we sat right by the windows. With our coffee. And watched a parade pass. And talked about everything. It was the best kind of soul medicine.

Saturday was also a day for impromptu road trips home. Home to my parent's house. I'm naturally a planner, but this was amazing: no bags to pack around, no agenda...just the quiet of Lobster Valley and the beauty of togetherness. Can I just say that I LOVE traveling light?

My dad and I may or may not have shared one or two bottles of wine;). And mom made dinner and dessert for us to take home Sunday.

How was your weekend, friends?

I hope you have a beautiful week!

  1. That is so very lovely my friend! I sometimes miss Alsea/Lobster Valley, especially when the weather is really beautiful. It's wonderful to have sunshine in the city, but nothing compares to the vibrancy of colors and the melodic sounds of nature in that area. So glad you had such a nice weekend!
